Presenter Profile
How they describe themselves: TransFS is a comparison-shopping website for business owners to find financial services providers. Shopping for business financial services is hard, because they are complex and business owners usually don’t have time to become an expert on each product. We make it much easier and provide the shopper with greater bargaining power. We plan to eventually offer comparison-shopping for many business financial services, such as payroll processing, loans and insurance, but for the time being we only offer comparison-shopping for credit card processing services. More than half of the over 20,000,000 businesses in the US accept credit cards.

What they think makes them better: TransFS focuses on business financial services and offers a comparison-shopping experience that allows the shopper to compare many competing providers on an apples-to-apples basis. TransFS is similar to the consumer-focused sites Lending Tree, SimpleTuition, Mint and BillShrink. TransFS, however, is focused solely on business financial services. TransFS is different from lead generation companies, such as Buyerzone. Lead generation sites connect financial services providers with potential customers but don’t help the customer determine which provider is the best match. TransFS provides free web applications to help the shopper sort through and compare his/her options.
