List of FAQs
Q. Who should attend Finovate events?
A. Anyone with an interest or stake in the future of banking and financial technology should come to FinovateSpring. This includes anyone who is responsible for developing or marketing new products, anyone who needs to keep up-to-date on the latest innovations in the industry, and anyone who can benefit from the opportunity to view in-depth demos from cutting-edge startups and leading established companies.

Q. What is the refund policy for attendee tickets?
A. Assuming that there is no one at your company that you’d like to transfer your ticket to, and you don’t want to transfer your ticket purchase to a future Finovate event, the refund policy for FinovateSpring is as follows:
  • For cancellations requested on or prior to March 23, we will refund 100% of the fee.
  • For cancellations between March 24 and April 20, we will refund 50% of the fee.
  • For cancellations on or after April 21, we will not be able to refund any of the fee, but we will still be able to roll your ticket over to a future event or transfer it to another member of your team.

Please note:  We will always refund cancellations made within 48 hours of purchase.

  Q. What topics do Finovate demos traditionally cover?
A. Some areas covered at past Finovate events include: debit rewards, alternative payments, person-to-person (P2P) lending, new marketing tools, security solutions, mobile apps, social investing, personal financial management, youth banking, credit and next-generation online banking platforms.

Q. Is there an official hotel for FinovateSpring, or have you negotiated a special rate at a nearby hotel?
A. There is no official hotel for FinovateSpring, and we have not negotiated any special rates at local hotels. In the past, we’ve found that online travel websites are consistently able to undercut our “special” rates, so we recommend using Expedia, Hotwire, Priceline, Travelocity, etc. to find a hotel that looks good to you. For hotel suggestions, please see our venue page.

Q. What should I wear to FinovateSpring?
A. There is no dress code for Finovate events, but you can expect the majority of the audience to be wearing suits and ties, or similar business attire.  If you’re not sure what to wear, we’d recommend erring on the side of formality.
